BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

Hey everyone. I realize I've been totally absent lately, and in my last post, I sort of touched upon what's going on - work was a little stressful for a while there.

Well, let me finally shed some light to my loyal blog readers...
Last year, my husband and I started talking about how we would love to move to Phoenix and over the summer, he was even offered a position through his friend who lives out there. Unfortunately, there weren't any openings within my company in Phoenix, so it didn't happen.

Two weeks ago, an opening came up in Phoenix and my husband and I talked it over and decided I should put in for it. It's the position above me so it would have been a promotion and my initial thought was that I won't get it anyway, so it really can't hurt.

When I was stressed out it was because I was busy getting my candidate packet together, then preparing for my phone interview, which was just last week...

The day after my phone interview they called and said they were flying me out there for a face-to-face interview. Mind you, they called me on Friday to tell me to fly out on Sunday. So, I did.... I figured "What the hell?"

I flew out on Sunday and came home on Monday after a morning full of interviews.

I found out today that I got the position and my husband and I will be moving to PHOENIX!

WOO-HOO!!!

I'm so excited! I will find out more details on Friday such as when I start and when I need to move out there for sure, but I'm so excited about this new chapter in our life.

As excited as I am, now my mind is just a whirl-wind of the things we need to do now. For example, selling our house in Michigan should be loads of fun (sarcasm) so if anyone knows anyone who's interested in a 4 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home for $155,000 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, let me know for sure!!!

Now that I know at least, hopefully I can get back into the groove of life- working out, reading, and everything else that's usually routine.
