Before and after

>> Sunday, December 28, 2008

As you can tell by the title, this post was going to be some before and after comparisons with some workouts I've done more recently... but I've decided to do something more fun.

We're sitting down to watch the Dark Knight on DVD. Michael got it for Christmas so we're winding down since we both have to work in the morning. It's me, Michael, his dad, and his mom.

Michael's mom is IMPOSSIBLE to watch movies with. Seriously, I can't stand it. She asks so many questions, it's not even funny. It's incredibly annoying and it makes me wonder if she's paying attention at all b/c she'll ask half way through the movie who someone is although they're one of the main characters. Argh.

So, here you go... as we watch, I'm going to type all of the questions she asks. ENJOY!

I can't make this shit up...

What's that guy's name?
Didn't he die while filming?
How come?
So he took too many pills or what?
What time is everyone going to work tomorrow?
Where's the bread in the drawer?
Who's that? The joker?
Is that the real Batman?
Where's Robin?
Why does he talk like that? (referring to C. Bale's voice)
Who's Batman? Val Kilmer?
What happened to Wayne manner?
Is that the same butler he's always had?
Does she know?
Who was it? (referring to a text message)
Did you take a picture with your phone?
Did he just stab that guy?
(she asked something here but I didn't hear it)
What happened to Robin?
Can you hand me a blanket?
What did you say happened to Robin?
Where are they going now?
Are they going to see the judge?
Uh-oh, is this real?
The joker is driving the van right?
Oooh, is that the bat mobile?
Is he driving that car or someone else?

Okay, that's 25 questions and we might be half way through the movie.

Deep breath, nice and slow... patience Kelsalynn, patience. =)

This doesn't count all the "oh!" and "no, get out!" and "gasp!" every two seconds. oh wait, there were just three in a row...

Is that the crazy guy again?
Where are they taking him?
What does that say?

LOL, awesome. That's hilarious. I think I'm a *little* like that but not nearly as bad. :D

I really want to see Dark Knight.

Holy crap! I laughed out loud when I read this. Haha. Too funny.

Random Dark Knight fact: My office building is shown in the scene at the end where the cars are diverted below ground because there's a fire truck on fire in the middle of the street. My office is brightly lit lobby in the lower, left hand corner of the intersection. True. All true. I cross that intersection every week day.
