Goooood-bye.
My smallest student loan currently has a balance of $1,268.40.
Except in a few days it will be much smaller...
I sent in a payment today for $695!
This loan should be paid in full by the end of the month.
Say good-bye!
Next in line is yet another student loan with a balance of $8,015.54. If things continue the way they have been, that loan should take 3-4 months to pay off.

I am very envious/jelous but also inspired. I feel like I'm going to be writing checks to Sallie Mae til I die. Blah. Though, I know that with a little hard work, my other two student loans (which are actually pretty tiny) will be gone and then I can start doubling my Sallie Mae payments - which means I'll only be writing them checks til I'm 40 instead of 60. Stupid private education.
It's awesome to watch your little bar move. Wish I had the guts to put one up myself - but my student loan load is really really scary (we're talking buy a really nice condo scary).
