one hellofa workout

Today was a pretty awesome Sunday.

Slept in until 9 AM, did some laundry and cleaned the kitchen right away. It's always nice to get that crap out of the way early so it's not weighing on me all day. Then we watched a movie- Clone Wars (it was okay), while I drank my coffee and had breakfast, then we headed to the gym.

That's where I had one HELL OF A WORKOUT! It was super hard but really good at the same time:

5 rounds of:
1/4 mile sprint
15 box jumps
15 wall balls

My time was just under 21 minutes. I was hoping to get it under 20:00, but it was a lot harder than I thought. I did run the 1/4 mile sprint at a 7:13/mile pace before hopping off to do 15 2-ft high box jumps.

It was an awesome workout and really my first super tough workout since the marathon. I've worked out since then, but today's was the most intense by far.

From there I came home and ate lunch, finished cleaning, and then got ready to go watch the Super Bowl with some friends. I'm sad that the Cards didn't bring home the win, but it was an awesome game and I'm just pleased they didn't get their asses handed to them honestly.

Monday night is the cycling class again and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm sorry the Cards didn't win too! But what a game.
