Workout Uno Done

I'm pretty stoked right now... I headed to the gym this morning to do a max rep of the shoulder press (SP), push press (PP), and push jerk (PJ).

The last time I did this was on July 5th. Below are my max reps from that day:

SP: 65 (attempted 70 but couldn't get it)
PP: 75
PJ: 75

Today I got the following:
SP: 70 (+5!)
PP: 85 (+10!)
PJ: 85 (+10!)

I really hate how badly this WOD makes my wrists hurt. Not cool.

Everyone is sick around me right now- most people at work and a lot of our friends. I'm really hoping I don't catch it. I realize my diet and eating right is probably pretty important right now so that's what I plan to focus on this week.

My lunch is packed and so are my two snacks of the day. I have no reason to stray except lack of discipline!

Ah, yes...I know well the "everyone around me is sick" thing. Ugh, yuck. Sleep lots :) And stay away from anyone actively coughing. :)

I'm also worried about getting sick. Might have to quarantine myself until after the race.

Speaking of that, thanks for the offer on housing some of the visitors but I think we're set. I need to start planning the wkkend activities and in particular a time to meet up with you for a beer! Are you planning on watching the race? I feel like I've already had this conversation with you but I'm so scatterbrained lately. Anyway, beer soon. I am also going to start needing weekly weather updates starting Nov 1st. :) ok this is long.

Great job on the workouts of course! You're amazing.
