Slowly but surely... actually, not that slowly

>> Wednesday, November 25, 2009

It's a pay week for us so I sent some more money to our Emergency Fund today.

$1,350 to be exact!

Here's where we stand so far-

Total Saved = $9,405
% Saved = 73.1%

As soon as our tenants pay their rent for December, we'll be sending $1100 more to our Emergency Fund, so expect that announcement early next week.

But right now, I just can't believe that we have almost $10K in savings. This feels pretty great! And next week it will be over $10K--- crazy right? I think this is the most we've ever had in savings and to think that it's really only from our efforts since October 1st! I don't want to toot our own horn, but it's hard to think that in less than 2 months, we've saved this much and at the same time, NOT feel proud of ourselves. We're doing this and it feels great!
Until tomorrow,
Kelsalynn

Great pictures on your blog!!!!!

When I saw that you said "slowly" I had to comment. There is nothing slowly about what you are doing. You are using your "obviously huge shovel" (income) and managing it very well! You are ROCKIN' it!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving BTW!
