1. Deadlifts-
145
165
175
185
195
205
215 (f)
210
I almost had 215- it was SOOOO close! My left hand dropped the bar though at about half way up! HUGE BUMMER! Looking back, I should have tried 215 again. Instead, I dropped down to 210 and hit that.
2. Pull-ups-
I did my 7 strict pull-ups this morning. I even attempted to do two of them with a 5lb weight, but it didn't happen. That's okay, I'm not sweating it. It will happen sooner or later!
3. Paychecks-
I will receive my first paycheck tomorrow with my raise on it. Although it won't be deposited until tomorrow, I can see it online already so I know how much it is. At first, I was torn with how to treat the 5% raise, but I decided to put 3% to my 401k to get the match from my employer and let the other 2% come back to me.
In looking at my check, I see that the 3%/2% split decision impacted it just as I had expected and planned. My 401k contribution is being deducted yet my paycheck still increased slightly (very slightly). The small increase will go to the normal budget and will not change our emergency fund timeline at all.
4. Savings-
I contributed an additional $1,575 to our Emergency Fund today! That puts our total savings at $8,056!
TOTAL EMERGENCY FUND= 62.6%!!
Our goal is to have our emergency fund in place by the end of the year and we're still on track to reach that goal. My very last check of 2009 will hopefully fund the very last of it!
Until tomorrow,
Kelsalynn
