Birthday party
>> Sunday, December 6, 2009
I work with some pretty cool people. We're all about the same age, which is good considering I'm in accounting. A lot of accounting departments have older men who wear bow ties. But not us. I think we're pretty cool and a lot of fun- we break the stereotype of "accountants."
My boss's 30th birthday was on Friday. He was on the verge of tears at the thought of turning 30 and no longer being in his 20's. So of course, we reigned in the celebration with drunken fun!
Here are some pictures of the night. Needless to say, we were all "slightly" intoxicated... I ended up sleeping most of Saturday b/c I was so hungover. I never puked, but I almost wish I would have... I probably wouldn't have woke up Saturday still drunk! :)
Early on in the night

A little later in the night

My boss- the birthday boy

Michael sat at the calm (AKA not drunk) table... I was sitting at the "kids" table we called it

Frank is from Africa. Someone made a joke about how soccer is not a real sport (just being funny) and Frank got pissed and gave a 20-minute monologue about how awesome soccer is... he was talking so fast, his accent really came out and no one could understand him. It was hilarious

It was a fun night but it's Sunday afternoon and I'm still recovering!

ouch. Also, you should buy a pair of those glasses.
Sounds like a great time! You HAVE to have those everyone once in a blue moon! :)
Awesome!! Haha. I love the pics. Especially of the angry soccer diatribe. Hilarious.
Sounds like a really fun night. You deserve to let loose now and then! :)
Looks like a lot of fun! And, you MUST work for a young office if your boss is just turning 30!
I'm looking around... nope... wait...
Over there... maybe??
No...
Can't... find... my invite...
