Before setting goals for 2010, I think it's important to give yourself a pat on the back for any accomplishments in 2009. I forget to do this and tend to focus on what I'm still not doing or haven't accomplished...

So, here's what I accomplished in 2009- looking back, it was one hell of a growth year for me. I can't wait to see where I'm at at the end of 2010!

SUCCESSES

Completed a marathon!

Did my first unassisted pull-up!

Set financial goals with Michael and got him involved in the finances!

Created sinking funds for various expenses including: property taxes, vehicle repairs, car insurance, homeowner's insurance, renter's insurance, and hair care!

Became debt free- paid off $60,952!

Started an Emergency Fund- current total is $11,413!

Received a 5% raise- contributed 3% to 401k!

Started a new hobby- knitting!

What did you accomplish this past year? Have you remembered to give yourself a pat on the back?

Goals for 2010 will come shortly...still finalizing them!

Until tomorrow,
Kelsalynn

Congrats on a very successful 2009. I can't wait to see what you have planned for 2010.

The accomplishment I keep patting myself on the back for this past year is playing the violin (solo!) at my friend's wedding. I still can't believe that happened.

Kelsa, you continue to blow me away with your drive and dedication. Seriously, I think you should consider world domination. I think it could work :)

It's been a great year for you! I'm hoping to be close to debt free a year from now-- only time will tell!!

Congratulations on such a successful year! My hat is off to you. You worked hard to achieve those goals and should be proud. :)

I am definitely proud of my 2009 accomplishments, and am looking forward to 2010!!
