Workout and credit score

Really quick-
Did the LEGS workout from the FITR website today and it was great!
6 rounds of 8 reps each of back squats, kettlebell swings, and 100ft lunges.
Here are my weights for each round of the squats:
1- Bodyweight- warming up
2- 45# bar only
3- 45# bar only
4- 65#
5- 65#
6- 95#
Kettlebell swings- I used a 35# dumbbell for each round.
Lunges- after the 3rd round of 100ft lunges, my legs were noodles! But I loved it!
Great workout!
Every month, I update my credit score for free using credit karma. The idea is that companies advertise on here so the website gets you your credit score for free. It sends me an email reminder monthly when it's time to update it.
I've always had an excellent credit score and I admit, I always thought that was important. That was until I met Dave Ramsey and now that we don't borrow money, I anticipated that our credit score would drop. It's funny because a lot of people get out of debt and then they are miraculously deemed "not as worthy to have debt." It's such a paradox of what actually makes sense- the more debt you have (and manage well) the better your score is. You could make tons of money, pay cash for everything, then want to get a mortgage on a home and have a bad score. It makes no sense to me.
I digress, sorry... like I was saying, I was expecting it to drop.
At the end of September, my credit score was 773. Very good.
In September, we paid off the last of our debt! We became debt free! Wahoo!
My prize?
My credit score in October was 754. It was higher when we owed $60K in student loans and a car loan.
Granted 754 is still good, I'm not complaining and frankly, I don't care since I don't plan to borrow money anytime soon. It just peeves me that this is the system by which so many people and companies hang their hat. What a screwed up way of thinking.
Soapbox over.

haha, funny i have almost EXACTLY the same credit score....but with some debt associated. guess mine will be going down soon as well.
Re: Credit score. This one makes no sense to me either. My Godmother ran into problems with it b/c she never had debt. They paid cash for EVERYTHING: cars, house, EVERYTHING. She actually had to file a lawsuit because when she sold her house up north and went to rent an apartment in Sturgis they said she wasn't credit worthy. A woman who had never been in debt, therefore never had a late or missed payment and who had 20 years worth of living expenses in the bank was deemed "not credit worthy". It's so nuts. I look forward to the day that I'm "not credit worthy".
Credit scores makes little to no sense to me. Mine is good so that is about the extent to which I care about it. Given that I just paid off the last of the debt that I had, I am sure mine will be going down soon too.
We were having a conversation at Christmas about credit scores. Mike's sister and her husband who have been married for 15+ years have both of their names on everything. He works full time, she works part time and yet for some unexplaniable reason her credit score is higher than his. It really makes no sense.
I too am just glad I don't plan on borrowing money any time soon.
And congrats on making it to the gym again!
Travis and I have the same credit score issue that Mike's sister has. We're joint on the autos and home and most of our revolving credit accounts, but I have student loans. I'm not working outside of the house but my score is higher than Travis's (barely). It's weird.
