Got 'er done

>> Monday, March 8, 2010

I'm stoked that I got to the gym tonight.

It was a long day- I got to work around 7 AM and didn't leave until 7:10PM. Sure, I took a lunch, but not really. I made a quick trip to the library to return some books then headed back to the office and ate at my desk.

So it was a long day. Once I got home, we ate dinner quickly, let our stomachs settle, then headed to the gym.

After a long day, I'm proud of myself for staying committed to my workout. I also did my 6 burpees for today!

Here's what I did:
3 rounds of 10 reps-
Dumbbell bench press 20#
Barbell shoulder press 45#
superset with
Dumbbell push press 15#

Max rep bench dips = performed 18, 13, and 10 reps
superset with
Max rep bench push-ups = performed 6, 5, and 5 reps

It was tough! My arms were jello-y big time! I almost fell flat on my face on the last set of push-ups. I went down for #6 and never came up!

I won't be working out on Tuesday because we're meeting one of Michael's family's friends (got that?) for dinner. I do plan to do my 7 burpees though!

I did this workout and my arms were also very jello-y. By the time I got to the push ups I did 10and was done. I might been able to squeeze in a few more but was also getting worried about missing my train home.

have fun with one of Micheal's family's friends!

Wow, good job getting all that done after such a long day! After a day like that, I typically just wanna crack a beer and veg in front of the TV!
