Getting there...

>> Sunday, June 13, 2010

I transferred another $1,583.13 to our new car fund today!

Total Saved = $12,754.86!!
85% of goal

Yippy! We officially have more in our new car fund than we do in our Emergency Fund! That's pretty crazy... we're planning to go over 4th of July weekend to do some car shopping! How exciting!

Here's my to-do list for today:
  1. Take dog for a bike ride - done
  2. Balance checkbook - done
  3. Sweep
  4. Mop
  5. Dust
  6. Do laundry (and put it away!
  7. Workout
  8. Paint finger nails and toe nails
  9. Update resume & cover letter
  10. Return book to library
Notice #9 - I decided earlier in the week to update my resume and cover letter now rather than waiting until November as originally planned. I'm not happy where I work and I dread going to the office every day. Michael and I didn't bust our butts to become debt free and build up our emergency fund so that I could work someplace I'm not happy. And I don't see it getting any better anytime soon.

I'm excited to workout today. It will be the first time in a week. But considering I was at work until 8:00 or even 9:00 Monday- Wednesday, I didn't have any energy left by the time I got home.

What do you have on your to-do list for today?

Until tomorrow,
Kelsalynn
